Drayton Bassett is a small Staffordshire village best known as being the resting place of Sir Robert Peel, the Prime Minister who introduced Bobbies to Britain.
To the younger generation, it is probably best known as being next door to Drayton Manor Park - one of the country's major amusement parks & built on the site of Sir Robert Peel's former home, Drayton Manor.

This site aims to introduce you to St Peter's Church - in the centre of the village - and to provide you with information which may be useful if you are visiting, or moving to, the village.
